This Monday, Momo's will be hosting a special event featuring Maurice Louca. Maurice Louca was born in Cairo, where he lives and works.

He co-founded and is a member of the band Bikya, and composed and performed live the original soundtrack for Sherif el Azma’s Video/Lecture, Psycho Geography of Loose Associations, a part of Meeting Points5. His debut solo album Garraya was released in January 2011 on the Cairo-based label 100COPIES. He also composed and performed alongside musician and composer Mustafa Saed the music for the theatre production Lessons in Revolting 2011.

This year he created the sound design for the filmSound from the hallways 2012 by artist/film maker Lasse Lau that is currently on exhibition at Lumiar Cite (Lisbon).

Café and Restaurant are surrounded by an extended terrace with a capacity of

more than 200 seats.

Momo presents DJ Sensimilla, the award winning DJ/ Producer behind the band Fagget Fairys and founder of art-music-fashion collective ArtRebels and Copenhagen's Trailerpark Festival.

Cotton Couscous Candy...

As at Momo we love impro, we love when things get crazy, we were totally enthusiastic when Couscous Candy came to us to plan a celebration of Eid, 3 days before the D day. When Djette suggested at 2am to have a Cotton Candy after Party at Momo's, last minute we just loved it, got super excited and it all went fun and / or downhill from there.

1 to 6am. over 500 guests. Beautiful people and candyfloss. Party DJayed by Djette and many friends who had the good idea of poping in when they saw some light.
